Common pricing questions
What counts as an active contract?
An active contract is one with at least one accepted obligation. We price on operational outcomes—contracts you're actually tracking—not raw storage or page count. This keeps costs aligned with the value you get.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new plan's features and limits. When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
What's the difference between Starter and Team?
Starter ($49/mo) includes up to 25 active contracts, 2 users, and full AI-assisted extraction for contracts on the plan. Exception queue, deadlines, calendar, export, and analytics are included. Team adds governing truth (effective vs raw across contract families), the action center (blocked, overdue, unassigned actions with SLA tracking), up to 300 contracts and 10 users, and full AI across the tier. Starter is ideal for individuals; Team for small legal ops, procurement, or finance teams.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. All paid plans (Starter, Team, and Growth) offer approximately 17% off when you pay annually. Use the toggle above the pricing table to see annual prices.
What does the $1 trial include?
The $1 trial gives you 14 days of full access to all features: exception queue, governing truth, action center, AI extraction, contract risk findings, traceability, and more. Limits: 10 contracts, 2 users, 1 workspace, 5 files per bulk import, 25 MB max file size. No commitment beyond the $1 charge—evaluate the full product before subscribing.
Does Enterprise include API access?
Yes. Enterprise adds API access for programmatic contract, obligation, and action management; SSO/SAML; extended audit logs and retention policies; and dedicated support with SLA. Volume limits are negotiated.
What is customer-owned deployment?
Enterprise teams can run ClauseMinds in their own Supabase, Vercel, and Railway projects with a guided setup wizard—your databases and file storage stay in accounts you control, with encrypted provider tokens during provisioning and handoff when you are ready.
